This week was a bit of nightmare for me when I saw my blog going down to zero. I noticed that server was down for a lot of time and my blog was inaccessible. The worst part came when I tried to backup my whole blog and something went wrong. I was almost on the verge of losing all data and everything. Believe me there is nothing more confusing than the cpanel of Godaddy. I don’t know if it can even be called a cpanel. Whatever it is, it provided me absolutely no solution to overcome this problem.
Then I decided to switch hosting to Hostgator and so far they have been excellent. They were able to restore my posts from a database which was not even fully intact. Thanks to them, I have got all my posts back though some images and other categories are missing. But I am happy that I have my blog up and running now.
I strongly recommend to use Godaddy only to register domains. Hostgator are far far more better hosts than Godaddy. I will soon upgrade to their dedicated hosting as the traffic increases here on this blog. Good Luck To ME!!!
