Google rolls out its PageRank updates approximately 4 times in a year and is awaited eagerly by most webmasters and bloggers. This year’s last update was rolled out on 4 February, 2013. Since Google gives webmasters an approximate time of 3-4 months to work on their blogs to improve their PageRank in the next update, we can expect an update in this last week of June or the first week of July.
Google PageRank is usually a not-so-important factor as it does not affect traffic or search engine rankings. But it surely does give you a hint about the performance of your blog. Though, a blog with a higher PageRank might under-perform than a blog with a lower PageRank.

No, there is nothing to be really watchful about Google PR. Though a good PR, usually above than 3 can give you some extra benefits like below.

- More Subscribers :- People may subscribe to you since you have a high PageRank which is an indicator that you do produce some quality content.
- More Guest Writers :- This is the most beneficial aspect of a high PR. Guest writers like blogs with high PR. Hence, your blog might get a lot of attraction from such writers.
